Hey there! Well what we call Christianity or Religion today, it doesn't have anything to do with Jesus! Right? I mean in the most essential consideration of facts Jesus is someone who gave his life for you. Like Socrates, for what he believed. An interesting contrast though rumors have is that Jesus did it for you. Full stop.
Jesus has really given no solid manuscript of his presence. This has two directions. However tonight we entertain the idea that there was at least a guy called Jesus and he was indeed crucified because he was preaching something about loving each other. The same determination we measure at least from Sokrates and actually a lot of people martyrs of one belief or another.
Hence! Hence quite possible. Interesting however this dude, really left no actual evidence. We are aware that this is statistical possible and has happened at least once with Sokrates. That we believe Plato gave us a pretty good description which this guy really was.
So there is a good chance what Jesus was to have passed indeed with fluctuation to what he really was. However, under this context, the rational conclusion is that indeed someone gave his life for you. There is consistency to what he is preaching to be equal for each of us today. Since he welcomed everyone. A common feature to adopted Christianity and all texts surrounding who he was.
Hence, there it is. You can really pick it up or not. There is at least one man that died for you. Just because he thought he worth it. Add the scenario he was indeed brutally crucified, he went through this shit just for you. In the end, Socrates just drunk the potion (I count it works like that).
Yes! I am aware! Not just him. However, all the people that fought or gave their lives for us today did it conditionally. Under a personal or universal banner. I mean the dude here, Jesus supposedly did it just for you, the way you are right now (You like me, just the way I am! Bridge Jones). I say this is a significant probably significance. Was he the first to do so? I don't know. I guess for this "matrix" edition yes. Archaeology can be a bitch if you are fixated that scripts carry hardcore truth. T-rex is sad!
Interestingly also, such a sacrifice we usually except only from our mom. At least we are more certain about it. Hence, it had to be a man, right? I think God made a feminist act making his "son." However, I can't know until he says so. Surely though, I can see why it makes sense. Will a woman's sacrifice looked up expected or foolish? It had to be a man. Because we are jerks to women. So it was if you ask me.
However, the divine nature of Jesus is not a necessity for the discussion. However you know... in case of lack of objectivity, I reported the position I type from. But here it comes my favorite part. The paradox validation by denial. I always found stupid the Tito paradox, if all Cretans are liers so is he.. blah blah. It's a text in the new testament anyway. The point though to focus is that by being alien to the concept of Jesus, just because Christianity in its majority today sucks, it's not his fault. Right?
People draw the wrong conclusions. Hence, the danger relies on one subtle but essential point. Every time you frown in the idea of Christianity and then by the association to the idea of Jesus. You practically oppose to someone who actually gave his life for you... ta ta! At least it is not polite.
Yes! Priests, churches, etc. performed like every other human invention in the long run. Hence we know it's not from the god... by default. Some people are annoyingly stupid and anal about Christianity. How they fuck up science and religion. Yes! Exhausting. However, not a Jesus problem. So do not blame the concepts Christianity brings. Dig and find the ones you can talk to the lunatics. The ones that serve under these principles in these institutions, we know they are good priests. Easy to spot them, you gain money by them. You do not lose money by them. Spiritual guidance brings prosperity without the exchange of coin. Jesus has been reported to say that too.
In the end, you have entitled an opinion on his death even if you are not Christian. In conclusion, he died as well for you as for them. They call themselves Christians, they could be also called Anonymous Fanatics Club, doesn't mean they have a priority knowing anything about Jesus if generalizations should be made, on the contrary. Hence, next time that someone comes to talk to you about Jesus... I hope it is not me! And you know... you are entitled as much of an opinion about him.
It is the first step for a concept not to collapse. If you are from the "the west world", you must realize what lack of putting faith on your vote privilege means. Trump... or you want me to refer in 1930ies? In the end, my dear, frowning on Christianity, is realizing there are people that believe in some Jesus. He doesn't have to be your responsibility, their acts though at some point they will be. So Brecht or Martin Niemöller (lost here in their sources) once said
“First of all, they came to take the gypsies

Well, one day their Jesus may come to "save" you... Jesus has nothing to do with Christianity and frankly, I wish you discover this concept only through this text. I dread a human that makes decisions for other people in the name of God. This is blasphemy to what is human, not to god or Jesus. The fireworks of our achievements leave behind this fog of Vanity, in the shadows and in the light, trying to call ourselves divine or hide our sins. When the fog will break by the wind and time, I wish we left alive, wise at last, not to dictate to each other. The Humanity that will wonder what if Jesus and Marx said the same thing? What if the Soviet\Communist Union was Christianity from the start? Is it Jesus or the people problem again?
I guess one generation will make it. If ours doesn't worth it, relax bitches, it will be our children.
In retrospect, Jesus is a concept! You like it or not it will affect your life denying abortions or lying hand on your kids. Jesus was not Joan of Arc, nor Boudicea, or Leonidas. He made a banner that will always allow you to vote, regardless if you Britton, French, Roman, Black, LGTBQ, or whatever. His death gave to all of us the responsibility to have a vote. Declare ourselves guilty of ignorance. Because in the end, no matter how much you disregard Jesus beliefs. He was innocent. Turning your back to this responsibility, you allow other people to come and save you in the name of Jesus. Historically this was not a success in a successful random way. I mean this witch-hunt thing, shows us we can get really fucked up. Karma?
However! The most important thing, even if you doubt about the existence of Jesus, don't frown. Jesus is the concept of the guy he did something for you without expectations, society creates them. That is all. He was courteous, we are not. Yet! We are getting better, though. This part is the resurrection in orthodox Christianity. Interesting concept, in philosophy it exists in ataraxia, I think.
With love.

and I was happy because they pilfered.
Then they came to take the Jews and I said nothing,

Then they came to take homosexuals,

Then they came to take the Communists,

One day they came to take me,
and there was nobody left to protest."
